Justice Approach Journal Of Medical Ethics Question: Discuss About The Justice Approach Journal Of Medical Ethics.   Answer: Introduction The present topic is based on the rights theory and its application. In this literature, two quotes have been discussed. the first quote is based on the rights of the patients to take their own decision and the second quote is a peer quote where it has been stated that disagree with the patient’s proposal may harm the health norms and the alleged medical practitioner may face provision of Healthcare Disability Commission Rights. However, certain differences can be observed between the two quotes regarding rights approach. According to my quote, every patient has the right to take their own decision and should have a right to privacy. However, it is not possible for the ordinary man to know about the side effect of the medical treatment. According to the principle of the medical ethics, a medical practitioner has to act for the best interest of the patients and they are required to make all the relevant recommendation for the beneficial interest of the patients. They should make the patient understand the fact that which thing can harm their health and which not. According to the first quote, the radio activities emitted from the x-rays can be harmful for the expectant women and their fetus can be injured. Sometimes, the patients are not paying any heed to the recommendation of the doctors and therefore, they face future problems. accounting to the peer quote, in case any medical practitioner disagree with the decisions of the patients for securing their interest, they will have to act against the rights of the patients and they may face medical commission for making breach regarding the code of health commission.   Therefore, it is required to consider the rights approach properly and the problem should be resolved considering the principles of Bioethics authored by Beauchamp. However, to conclude, it can be stated that a medical practitioner should have to act for the benefit of the patients and in that process, they may violate the autonomous decisions made by the patient.   Reference: Cookson, R.
